Festival of Samhain

    Festival of Samhain

As the old Celtic year fades and the veil between worlds grows thin, we invite you to gather with us at Glen Innish Farm to celebrate the turning of the seasons. Samhain marks the end of harvest and the beginning of winter’s quiet rest—a time to honor the land, remember our roots, and share in the warmth of community.

    What to Expect

The Snug - Open 11 am to 4 pm

Step into The Snug, our cozy gathering space, and take a moment to relax and enjoy the flavors of the season. Sip on local wines, craft beers, and seasonal favorites infused with our own lavender. This year’s signature drink is the Cider & Lavender Mimosa—a sparkling blend of Hillside Apples’ fresh-pressed cider and our fragrant lavender, celebrating the bounty of both orchard and field. Enjoy a slow morning or an afternoon visit surrounded by the sights and scents of autumn at the farm.

    Walk the Farm Trail

Take a peaceful stroll through our fields and along the wooded paths as fall wraps the farm in gold and rust. Along the way, join in our Samhain Scavenger Hunt and Reflection Trail—a gentle mix of story, symbolism, and discovery. Each stop along the trail invites reflection: listen to the wind in the cedars, notice the texture of wool in the pastures, feel gratitude for the harvest and the turning of the year. It’s a walk meant to slow your pace and reconnect you with the land.

    Make and Take Stations

Throughout the day, visit our crafting spaces and create your own keepsakes inspired by the harvest. Using herbs, grains, and evergreens gathered from the land, you’ll craft natural pieces that celebrate the season’s beauty and symbolism. Each creation is designed to bring warmth, gratitude, and a touch of Glen Innish home with you—reminders of the earth’s rhythm and your own creative spirit.

    Why Samhain on the Farm

For us, Samhain is more than a festival—it is the heart of the farming year. The fields have given their gifts, the animals settle into winter rhythm, and the air carries both gratitude and stillness. It’s the moment when we pause to reflect on the work behind us, honor the life all around us, and prepare for the rest that allows new growth to come.

At Glen Innish Farm, we open our gates to share that rhythm with our community. Together we celebrate not just the end of harvest, but the promise of renewal—the turning of the wheel that guides all living things.

Join us as we walk between seasons—between harvest and rest, light and shadow, endings and beginnings.
