2026 Event Information

Birds of the Glen at Glen Innish Farm

A conservation-forward, farm-integrated day devoted to the quiet magic of spring migration and the living landscape that welcomes it home.

Glen Innish Farm is partnering with the Bird City Algoma Committee to host a special gathering celebrating birds, habitat, and mindful stewardship of the land.

What to look forward to:

Bird Migration Scavenger Hunt

Using the free Merlin Bird ID app, listen for bird calls, identify species, and track which birds are passing through the area. Listen closely to the sounds around you and see how many migrating birds you can discover! Along the way, learn fun facts about bird migration, why birds travel, and how to recognize their songs and calls.

Hands-On Workshops:

- Build a Birdhouse

- Make a Bird Watering Dish

- Create a Natural Bird Nesting Ball

Quiet Observation Trail

A peaceful space for watching, listening, and being still.
Walk slowly, notice the small details, and let the sounds of nature guide your experience.

Enjoy fun activities and educational experiences for all ages at the farm!
